I need help
I’m trying to better understand how Signeasy manages document lifecycle and compliance in more complex, real-world workflows. Specifically, how does the platform handle version control and maintain audit trail integrity when a document is modified after being sent out for signature but before all recipients have completed signing?
For example, if a sender needs to make iterative changes (e.g., correcting clauses, updating fields, or adding recipients mid-process), does Signeasy automatically invalidate prior signatures, or is there a structured versioning system that preserves earlier states while requiring re-consent from affected signers?
Additionally, how are signers notified of such changes to ensure compliance with regulations like ESIGN or eIDAS? Is there a clear mechanism that enforces re-acknowledgment or re-signing when document content changes, and how is this reflected in the final audit trail for legal defensibility?
I’m particularly interested in how this works in team or enterprise environments where multiple stakeholders may be coordinating edits and signatures simultaneously.
